MEET OUR TEAM
Our story
DJ Warehouse makes speaker hire, sound system hire and party lighting hire in Cape Town simple and affordable. Based in Muizenberg, we offer DJ equipment, microphones and sound and lighting packages for house parties, 18th and 21st birthdays, weddings and private events.
Founded by the team at Volt AV, DJ Warehouse grew from a simple belief: hiring event equipment shouldn’t be complicated or overpriced. We brought the rental process online so you can browse equipment, compare prices and book what you need without a lengthy back-and-forth.
Whether you’re hiring speakers for a small celebration or choosing a complete party package, we help you find equipment that suits your event. Book online and arrange collection from our Cape Town warehouse or delivery. Need help choosing? Message our team on WhatsApp for quick, friendly advice on speakers, lighting and DJ gear.
Our aim is simple: make equipment hire easier, with clear pricing, convenient booking and helpful support from people who know sound and lighting.

What our customers say
Craig AllisonCape TownBefore this I had to go into my nearby music store, wait in a queue and then get told they didn't have what I needed. This made my life super simple, efficient and quite honestly my go to company for all future party rentals.
Emily KotzDurbanvilleI just needed some speakers and lighting for my sons 18th birthday party. This rental was super affordable and the equipment was very new and sounded great! We are very happy with this service.
Katie HopeCape TownWow. We have been waiting for something like this - a fully automated rental system. Collection was quick, the team was friendly and they even responded to me very quickly when I called them with a question regarding how to set it up. Superb!
